Riverside Indian School is a member of the North Central Association CASI and has been accredited by the association since 1965. The School is to be commended for its continuing quest for excellence. Riverside follows Oklahoma's Priority Academic Student Skills (PASS) Standards and the standard of the the Bureau of Indian Affairs. A National Study Indicates Academic Achievement of Oklahoma Native American Students Highest in Nation.

The staff at Riverside is dedicated to establishing a family atmosphere where students may develop as individuals. Some of the services offered are: Exception Education, where an individual education plan is provided for students with special academic needs; Extended Day, where after school tutoring is available that will assist students in improving their grade averages; Gifted and Talented Education, where enrichment activities will be provided for students that are classified as such in one or more of the following areas: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Intelligence, Academic Aptitude, Leadership, and Aptitude in visual and Performing Arts.

Other services are: Title I, which provides all students with academic assistance; Title II, provides for development in the areas of Science and Mathematics. Title IV- Safe and Drug Free Schools, provides for the healthy and holistic development of each student and staff member; Title VII is an expansion of academic assistance in Math and Reading; Intensive Residential Guidance-provides counseling services through five certified counselors and a staff of counseling technicians; and finally a Guidance Committee, whose team meets regularly to review student behavior and discuss plans of action to help with misbehavior or guidance needs.
